in waiting sky

water shaped goddess stands salty,
freshly swam into welcoming hand.
wandering and circling, round dance.
open seas offered, mother, prayer…

in its infinity, blue urges me to go,
from a mysterious passing gaze
a deeper, under water maze,
flutter, dimensionless glow.

swirl and twist happily
elegant turning eye.

interact, behold the shine of our creatures,
breathe, lungs and tongue surrendering.
stretched arms flowing, chaotic dew,
quenching river’s the trail of kiss.

hands firmly steering soft skin
squeezing hard please,
touch, heating,
heart pump.

eyes closed,
breeze muted,
lips and hands
graspingly waiting

ferly, the eternal flow

Liberating, Screams!

paused in awe.
echo surrounding,

dimensions are made new,
the ready now, begins.
and I, merely wish, slowly
unwitting skies and sins

  1. Another winner, Paulo! Ethereal and mysterious, while still being earthy and sensual. The picture is lovely too.

    • glad you liked it! thank you…i was so unsure of this one…it went on building and morphing by itself, but i think i could say much more if i was to continue…Also i need to read more poetry!…

  2. You’re welcome. I like it the way it is, if you kept adding to it there’s the risk that the reader might stop because the emotions they felt at the beginning aren’t the same as those 3/4 of the way in, but that’s just my opinion. If you look at some of my comments, there’s a few by poets I read daily. I’ll go and find the links for you.

  3. Here’s the link to one I visit daily:

The other is called SharpLittlePencil and is by a poet named Amy Barlowe Liberatore. If you need me to find the link, let me know. I just didn’t want to jam up your comments with lots of replies 🙂

Let me know how you like their work if you get the chance to check them out.
